On to the topic of today’s Substack…
There is only one. One what? One Source of all that is. Yet there are many gods. Not long ago, I made a little video about this. I’m sharing the YouTube version of this TikTok video below since I couldn’t get captions to work on TikTok.
I have been pondering this theme some more since I created the video…
In the Gospel of John, Yeshua quotes Psalm 82:6 “'You are gods (…)' In this way, the Old and the New Testaments remind us that we are children of the Most High, and no less than the beings we refer to as ‘gods.’
Another way of looking at this is that we all come from the same Source but suffer from varying degrees of dementia concerning our latent powers here in the third dimension. It is, of course, also likely that our ability to use said powers is severely limited on Earth due to cosmic laws, or as some would refer to it, ‘the effects of the fall.’
One of the questions on my mind is, ‘Are we here to worship and serve deities outside ourselves or are we here to do the work of embodying Mother-Father God/Source by doing its will?’
I believe without a doubt in one God/Source as the origin of all that is. Without a Source, there would be nothing. But what of these other gods that so many believe in and have encountered? Are they real? If so, are these discarnate beings more powerful than those of us living here in the 3D Matrix? And what is our relationship with these gods? Should we bother connecting with them or are we better off focusing all our attention on the One?
Why is it even important to find out? It feels important to me because a couple of the gods and goddesses have communicated directly with me. One of the deities that connected with me many years ago is Nephthys. She came uninvited when I was meditating but dozing off. The first sign of her presence was a ringing peel of laughter. I’m quite randomly clairaudient and this was one of those times.
I asked her who she was and she introduced herself. At the time of this happening, I had never even heard of her name. I had to Google it. I used the spelling as I heard it in my native Swedish mind, ‘Neftis.’ Everything she had told me about herself and her function could be verified.
There have been other interactions with deities. In two instances within the past 12 months, I asked for a physical sign from two different goddesses. I received the exact signs I had asked for from each within 24 hours. And I’m not talking about seeing a picture in my social media feeds. I received a physical pink rose from the first and an actual roebuck skull from the second.
Why would they bother reaching out to us in this way if cooperation is pointless? What if they are meant to function as guides and mentors or even big sisters/brothers? Perhaps they have walked on Earth in many incarnations and wish to make things a bit easier for us. Maybe, just maybe, we are better off honing our psychic abilities so that we can communicate with them more effectively.
Interestingly, from a Pagan point of view, I am not under the impression that any of these gods or goddesses wish to be worshipped. They seek companionship. Or at least, that’s my impression.
