In Claire’s daisy chain post, there are several prompts to choose from but the one that immediately spoke to me is the one I chose as the title for today’s Substack. The reason I pounced on this prompt (with the addition of the word ‘divine’) is that this is an actual question I have been wrestling with for many years now.
It was only after working actively on healing Religious Trauma (RTS) that I was able to make sense of my calling which is to be in service to the Divine Feminine—a calling I have been aware of for more than 20 years now. My destiny is still unfolding but as a professional Tarot reader for nearly 13 years, I can chime in with the quote below: “I work for Holy Mother.” I see myself as a Priestess of Tarot, using my feminine intuitive powers to guide those who seek my help on their path.
Based on my experience with religious trauma recovery, I can say with confidence that the first step in reclaiming the feminine is to reprogram and liberate ourselves from the patriarchal scripts we all have running in our deep minds, often in much more insidious ways than we imagine when we first begin scraping the surface to unveil the hidden sacred feminine.
There is a lot more I could say but I’ll leave it here for now. There will probably be hundreds of these daisy chain posts out there today. Hopefully, keeping this short and sweet will help you get through more of them. I have a book recommendation for when you have some time to curl up in the lap of Mother. It’s Untie the Strong Woman: Blessed Mother's Immaculate Love for the Wild Soul by Clarissa Pinkola-Estes. Trust me, reading this book will not only unveil Her—It will liberate your soul.
Blessed be!
